Privacy policy

Kydence is a workforce qualification tracker operated by Welder Qualification Tracker Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the Kydence web app and the Kydence mobile app.

What we collect

• Account details. Your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from them.
• Data you enter. The records you and your organisation add: employees, qualifications, certificates and documents you upload, procedures, jobs, locations, time entries, and form responses.
• Technical data. A session token stored on your device to keep you signed in, and basic logs used to run and secure the service.

How we use it

We use your data to run the service: to sign you in, store your records, send qualification and expiry reminders, and keep your account secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, which provides our database and file storage. Only our API can reach it, using access controls and row-level security. Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the providers that run the service: Supabase for storage, and our email and push providers to deliver reminders. We do not share your data with advertisers.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data while your account and organisation are active. You can ask us to correct or delete your data at any time by contacting us. Signing out ends the session on your device.

Children

Kydence is a tool for workplaces and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page.
